The first hard frost and mild freeze of the season this morning. . .

What happened to the “Notifications” navigation?

I see that I have notifications by the highlighted “Star” on the right top of the nav-bar, but when I click on it it cycles indefinitely. I used to be able to find my ‘Notifications’ when hovering over the “Globe” icon, but recently it had been moved to the “Reader” on the nav-bar, however, now it is completely absent and I am unable to navigate to my notifications! Where has it gone, and where can I find it? Can anyone help me? I am lost!!!
